Topics to be covered include: Proof reading a once over if you believe your book is well written but may have small errors as most finished manuscripts do. JT Finlay - Chief Executive Ofcer 4518872AAHC REGIONAL ARTS DEVELOPMENT FUND (RADF) FUNDING ROUND OPEN Applications are invited from organisations or individuals for grant funding under the Regional Arts Development Fund. These grants are funded jointly by local and state government to promote arts and cultural development in Queensland. Funding is available through RADF for individual professional development, projects, skill development workshops, and concept development. Application packs are available from Councils Customer Service Offices in Proserpine and Bowen and at all Whitsunday Regional Libraries. Applications should be forwarded to: The RADF Liaison Officer Whitsunday Regional Council PO Box 104 Proserpine Qld 4800 RADF closing dates are: 15 February, 2012 for projects starting after 15 March, 2012 and 19 April, 2012 for projects starting after 17 May, 2012 and should be received by 4pm on date of closing. Successful participants from past rounds are reminded that RADF funding is not available to applicants who have failed to acquit previous RADF grants. Applicants must have proof of residence in the region for 12 months. FEBRUARY IS LIBRARY LOVERS MONTH AT WHITSUNDAY REGIONAL LIBRARIES Are you game to take home a blind date? The books chosen are from all genres, authors and sizes. A limited supply of large print books will also be available. The blind book dates will be held during the month of February.
