  6. An Open Letter to All the Doctors &Staff at Lismore Base Hospital, the People of Lismore & Northern Rivers. My name is David and I live in Ocean Shores. Six weeksago I have had knee replacement surgery at LismoreBase Hospital and this letter is my humble way ofexpressing my sincere thanks to all concerned. Firstly the Surgeon Dr Richard Hudson of Lismore andhis support Staff did a first class job. I cannot thank them enough for their expertise, patience & caring attitude.Secondly, the Doctors, physiotherapists and nursing staff of the Orthopaedic C6 Ward at Lismore BaseHospital were fantastically professional, compassionate & caring people. Thank you all for looking after me sovery well. And thirdly, how very fortunate we all are living in theNorthern Rivers to have the Services & Staff of Lismore Base Hospital to cater for our medical needs.
