PUBLIC NOTICE Information session for the Jetimarala People for a proposed Indigenous Land Use Agreement under the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth) Arrow Energy Pty Ltd ACN 078 521 936 (Arrow) proposes to develop a liquefied natural gas (LNG) project involving the development of gas fields and the construction and operation of a pipeline and associated infrastructure for Arrow to export LNG from Curtis Island, near Gladstone. This project is known as the Arrow LNG Project (Arrow LNG Project). Arrow Energy Pty Ltd ACN 078 521 936 (Arrow) proposes to develop a liquefied natural gas (LNG) project involving the development of gas fields and the construction and operation of a pipeline and associated infrastructure for Arrow to export LNG from Curtis Island, near Gladstone. This project is known as the Arrow LNG Project (Arrow LNG Project). Arrow proposes to enter into an Indigenous Land Use Agreement (Area Agreement) (ILUA) pursuant to Part 2 Division 3 Subdivision C of the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth) in relation to the land or waters that are subject to the Arrow LNG Project shown on the map below (ILUA Area) and for any such ILUA/s to be authorised by all persons who hold or may hold native title in the ILUA Area. The ILUA Area is partly located within the outer boundaries of the Darumbal People Native Title Determination Applications (QUD6131/98 and QUD6001/99). The remainder of the ILUA area is over areas where there is presently no registered native title claim. The Southern Barada, Kabalbara and Jetimarala/Yetimarla People have been identified as persons who may hold native title in the ILUA area. PUBLIC NOTICE Information session for proposed Wiri People Indigenous Land Use Agreements under the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth) QGC Pty Limited QGC Pty Limited ACN 089 642 553 (QGC) proposes to explore for gas in the Bowen Basin which may lead to a gas project involving production and distribution of gas through the operation of pipelines and associated infrastructure (QGC Gas Project). QGC proposes to enter into Indigenous Land Use Agreements (Area Agreement) (ILUAs) pursuant to Subdivision C of Division 3 of Part 2 of the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth) (NTA) with the registered native title claimant for the Native Title Determination Application QUD372/06 (Wiri People) (Wiri Claim) in respect of that part of the QGC Gas Project shown on the maps below (ILUA Areas). The first proposed ILUA Area is located in the north of the Native Title Determination Application QUD380/08 (Barada Barna People). The second proposed ILUA Area is located entirely within the outer boundaries of the Wiri Claim. Separate indigenous land use agreements may be developed for other parts of the proposed QGC Gas Project. Rockhampton Regional Council Temporary Closure of Amenities Council would like to advise that the Amenities Block at the Causeway Lake (West) will be intermittently closed between 13 February 2012 and 27 February 2012 for an upgrade of the septic system and power supply. Portable toilets will be provided at the rear of the existing amenities block as an alternative for the periods when the Amenities block is closed.
